En snak om stress forskning og problem analyse
A podcast interview by Emil Nørgård Munk, CBS Teaching & Learning with Troels Krarup, Postdoc at Copenhagen University & Pernille Steen Pedersen, stress researcher and Associate Professor at CBS.
In this podcast socialogist Troels Krarup from Copenhagen and Pernille Steen Pedersen talk to Emil Munk about stress research and some research techniques they have developed together called “problem analyse.” They started to explore how best to research stress without pre-assuming the reasons behind and how to research the internal emotions, tensions, conflicts and experiences of others?
It is an approach designed to work with “problems”, which Troels and Pernille perceive as generic situations imbued with tensions, ambiguities, contradictions and potentially even conflicting arguments. Why do such contradictions arise and what are the conditions that make these contradictions coexist and arise repeatedly? Emotions are difficult to study and can often be contradictory within the same experience. The “problem analysis approach” is thus a methodological tool to address these appearing contradictions in order to explore and reveal the deeper conditions causing a given problem. In this podcast they share and reflect about this way of working.
