Useful tools for study groups

Preparing for a group exam can be both rewarding and challenging. Expectations may differ, communication styles vary, and work habits can create tension especially when deadlines are close. Open dialogue early on helps prevent misunderstandings and supports better collaboration.

Improve teamwork with dialogue cards.

The dialogue cards help groups talk openly about expectations, roles and working styles. They cover areas that may feel unclear, and can be used throughout the semester or leading up to an exam.

You can use the cards to:

  • Align expectations
  • Strengthen communication
  • Reduce stress before a group exam
  • Ensure everyone feels included.

Download the cards, and use them individually or together as a group, to start constructive conversations.

Themes include:

  • Teamwork
  • Inadequacy
  • Group Exams
More on dialogue cards

A short video shows four CBS-students trying out the dialogue cards, discussing common feelings of inadequacy in group work.

It worked surprisingly well to go through the [dialogue] questions together. We were placed in hypothetical situations where we had to describe how we would feel and how we imagined our group would react. It was a nice way to get closer as a group.” Bsc, HA(MAK) student
